An army runs on its stomach. Would you believe that a church work crew works on coffee? Charlie primes the pot while Martha checks the whereabouts of the work crew through the window.

Vera Avera works on a Fellowship Hall table. Crayon is hard to get off.

Chairs got a scrubbing too. Martha Canning applied elbow grease.

Steve Vasko rose to the occasion, taking down some blinds in the pastor's office.

Becky Vasko attacked windows on the outside with husband Steve working the inside.

It wasn't nap time and it's not a pillow. Those pew cushions need some cleaning. Milt Luoma got an armful.

Milt wasn't alone. Here's Mack Gibbs. What a load!

Pete Midgarden began working on the electronics closet under the stairs in the bell tower. What better place to look at electronic items than out in light in the sanctuary.

Cushions gone! Betty Pitcher begins waxing the dry wood comprising the pews. Husband Wayne and Mack Gibbs are piling those cushions behind her at the front of the sanctuary.

It wasn't just a matter of waxing that dry wood. Cushions were removed, pews were vacuumed, and the wax was laid down. Mack Gibbs, Wayne Pitcher, Charlie Canning, and Betty Pitcher (l to r) practice team work.

Milt Luoma applies the wax and uses a polishing stroke on that old wood.

Becky and Steve Vasko decided that you have to wash screens if you wash windows. Running water is a real blessing!

That electronics closet grew by volume a zillion times! It is amazing how much space is there under those bell tower steps once all the junk is gone. Mack Gibbs and Pete Midgarden (l to r) teamed up on some details.

We couldn't keep everybody working inside. Henrie Burnett applied her master gardening skills to the shrubbery.
